Your commitment
Six weeks
October 27–December 1

For the mother. And the woman.

You spent years helping them grow.
Now it’s your turn to grow, too.

Motherhood doesn’t end when your children become adults. But it changes in ways you may not have expected. Perhaps you worry about their choices, miss the closeness you once shared, or struggle to know when to step in and when to let go.

You may feel proud of who they’re becoming while quietly grieving what used to be. Somewhere along the way, a new question emerges: Who am I now, beyond being their mother?

You don’t have to navigate this season alone.

A different way forward

What if this season isn’t about losing your role, but discovering a new way of being?

From Worry
to Trust

Navigate uncertainty and release the pressure to manage your adult children’s lives.

From Holding On
to Healthy Connection

Explore boundaries, communication, and relationships rooted in mutual respect.

From Losing Yourself
to Rediscovering You

Reconnect with your identity, needs, passions, and possibilities beyond motherhood.

A little more clarity

Questions
are welcome.

Choosing support is personal. Our team is here to help you understand the practical details.

Who is this group for?

This group is designed for mothers of adult children who are navigating changing relationships, worry, grief, boundaries, or a shifting sense of identity. Before enrollment, Alina will explore whether the group is a good fit for your needs.

Is this therapy or a class?

This is a structured psychotherapy group led by Alina Hovsoyan, LCSW. It combines psychoeducation, experiential reflection, group processing, and practical integration. It offers both learning and space to explore your own experience.

Do I need a diagnosis?

You do not need to identify a diagnosis before reaching out. Clinical eligibility will be discussed privately. Insurance reimbursement may require a covered diagnosis and medical necessity; these requirements will be reviewed before enrollment.

Is insurance accepted?

We accept select insurance plans, including Select Health. Group psychotherapy benefits may differ from individual therapy benefits. Coverage, medical necessity, deductibles, copays, authorization, and reimbursement will be verified before enrollment. Coverage is not guaranteed.

What if I miss a session?

Because the group builds over six weeks, consistent attendance is encouraged. Please discuss any known conflicts, missed-session fees, and the attendance policy with the admin team before enrolling. November 24 remains a scheduled session during Thanksgiving week.

Will sessions be recorded?

Sessions are planned to take place live, without recording, to support privacy and participation. The recording policy will be reviewed with participants before enrollment.

Is this group confidential?

Participants will be asked to respect one another’s privacy and keep group conversations confidential. Your therapist will explain professional confidentiality, its legal limits, and the group agreement before participation. Other participants’ confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Join from a private space.

Can I participate from outside Utah?

Your physical location during sessions and clinical eligibility must be verified before enrollment. Please contact Rooted before assuming that participation from another state or country is available.

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

Our admin team will follow up through the contact details you provide, answer practical questions, and coordinate a discussion about fit, availability, payment, and benefits verification. An inquiry does not establish a therapist-client relationship, reserve a place, or guarantee enrollment.

Your journey as a mother continues.
So does your journey as yourself.
